Time Machine for VirtualBox
The Time Machine makes it easier to use the VirtualBox BIOS systemtime offset parameter (--biossystemtimeoffset). This means you can launch a Virtual Machine with a particular Date and Time. When used in conjunction with the IMMUTABLE mode and HOSTONLY network, it is possible to start a VM without the Guest Operating system automatically re-setting the Date & Time and the VM returning to the same time every restart. Since Immutable mode will cause you to lose the changes that you made to the VM once it is "powered off" you might want to use a Shared Folder to copy any data that you want to retain between sessions. You can also choose a directory (a VirtualBox shared Folder) which contents will automatically be Time Syncronized. The files in this folder will also get their date & time stamps reset to the selected date & time.
